Fun Pick: George of the Jungle 2 (Jake’s Rating: 74/100)

GotJ 2 whips ass. It takes everything good about the first one (Himbo Brendan Fraser) and just keeps doing the same thing. We got a certified classic on our hands here folks.

Good Pick: Agent Carter (78/100)

I feel like Marvel live action TV shows get a bad rap because they’re mostly some network bullshit with a couple MCU easter eggs as slop for us good little hogs, but Agent Carter is actually pretty good. It’s nothing life changing, but it’s a fun show you can throw on while you’re falling asleep or something.

Idiot Pick: Hamilton (💩/100)

Hamilton on Disney+ is like if you took something that sucked and put it on Disney+.

Fun Pick: Clash of the Titans (63/100)

This movie being as universally panned as it was is a crime against fun in cinema. It follows the simple formula of “handsome dude fights gross monsters for hot lady) and that is something that will never go out of style.

Good Pick: Train To Busan (87/100)

This is a Korean zombie thriller about a guy and his daughter trying to get to the one remaining safe area during an outbreak. It’s kind of like if I Am Legend was in Korean and the dog was a little girl.

Idiot Pick: Les Miserables (22/100)

If I ever hear Russell Crowe sing again I’m going to shave my head like a Franciscan monk and move to the Eurasian steppes.

HBO Max

Fun Pick: An American Pickle (79/100)

I am blown away that this movie didn’t suck. Is it the best Seth Rogan movie? No, not even close. Is it a super watchable hour and a half? For sure.

Good Pick: JoJo Rabbit (94/100)

Far and away the best movie on this list, if you haven’t seen it yet, get around to watching it ASAP. (P.S. Scarlett Johanson are you free to hang out this Friday? Hmu)

Idiot Pick: Scoob! (DNF)

Every day I ask myself if I’m high enough to finish this movie and every day the answer is no.
